Sunlight: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate 3–6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Outdoors, choose a spot with filtered sunlight; indoors, place near a south or west-facing window.
Watering: Water regularly during the growing season (spring and summer), keeping the soil slightly moist but never soggy. In winter, reduce watering and let the top 1–2 inches of soil dry out between waterings.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Mist the leaves occasionally or use a humidity tray during dry months.
Soil: Well-draining, rich potting mix (a mix of garden soil, cocopeat, and compost works well).
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season. No need for fertilizer in winter.
Pruning: Remove yellow or damaged leaves to maintain appearance and encourage new growth.
Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when the roots become crowded.
